It is possible for a motivated student to complete one course each month. He/she would then earn two (2) to four (4) semester hours each month. There are some courses that may be worth more than two (2) semester hours. He/she would then earn a minimum of twenty-four semester hours each year.
KBCS recommends that a student complete at least one course every three (3) months. At this pace, the student would
earn a minimum of eight (8) semester hours each year. This is considered the minimum load. Below this accomplishment, the student would be subjected to each change in the future catalogue as they occur. He/she would have no
“Degree Plan” for policy changes.
There are no awards for an accelerated program nor is there a penalty for taking a longer period of time to complete the
course of study. A student may complete his degree as quickly as his life situation allows. It is suggested that a student order two (2) courses at a time. Then, on the day he/she receives the grade, he/she can order the next two (2) courses. As he/she completes the former courses, his/her new order will be processed. Following this procedure will make the course of study smooth, uninterrupted and very rewarding.
